Dirty Projectors - Temecula Sunrise

As accurate a tab I could make without adding in beat markers (1 & 2 & etc.) This one was a lot of fun to work out and it becomes surprisingly easy to play once you get the hang of it. Singing over it is another matter..

    This is absolutely brilliant, I tried figuring this one out and I got something along the lines of this, but this is just much more refined. The one thing I could never figure out was the fast legato bit in the acoustic section. Are you planning to do one for Cannibal Resource?

    Nice work, great tab. I find the fast legato a bit easier to play moving up the fretboard a little earlier by playing (4th bar):

    e|--------5p0-|
    B|-3----------|
    G|---5--------|
    D|-5---4------|
    A|------------|
    E|------------|

    instead of:

    e|--------5p0-|
    B|-3s1--------|
    G|------------|
    D|------------|
    A|------4-----|
    E|------------|

    I think the G bass on that first beat sounds right too. What do you reckon?

    And another thing, I think the 2nd and 3rd bars are played like this:
    e|------------|-----------|
    B|------------|------0----|
    G|-0-----5----|-5s7-----0-|
    D|------------|-----------|
    A|------------|-----------|
    E|-3--------5-|------5----|

    rather than this:
    e|------------|-----------|
    B|-------1----|-1s3-------|
    G|-0----------|---------0-|
    D|------------|-----------|
    A|----------0-|------2----|
    E|-3----------|-----------|

    Pretty much the same notes, I know, but it sounds cleaner.

    Opps. Sorry people. Bar 3 should read:

    and not:

    Hey Matt, thanks for your input. Those sound like totally viable alternatives to what I wrote out and I can see how those would be more comfortable for some folks. Thanks for sharing.

    And seanmw, if you read this I did get halfway through Cannibal Resource over a month ago and I haven't had time to finish it lately.. but I will. Useful Chamber is about half done as well.

    Awesome tab man. You have a great ear. Though I play the legato thing like this:

    Instead of this:

    B|-3p1--------|-3p1p0---3--|-1-------------|
    G|------------|---------4--|-2---------0h2-|
    D|------4-----|------------|---0g2-0h2-----|
    A|------------|------------|---------------|
    E|------------|------------|---------------|

    as it achieves that more harp-like sustain, is technically easier and sounds more like the record.
